Philosophy at ANU ranked in top ten worldwide

The latest world ranking of analytic philosophy graduate programs places the ANU in the top ten programs internationally. This puts ANU first in Australia, on the same level as MIT, Stanford and Harvard in the US, ahead of every university in Canada, and ahead of every UK university except Oxford (which has the largest philosophy faculty in the world).

In the ANU and RSSS's speciality areas, philosophy does especially well with a ranking in the top three in Philosophy of Mind, the top three in Philosophy of Biology, and top five in Cognitive Science.
